We
went into Managua today to do a little shopping. The market we went to was
considered safe and we had two interpreters with us. Everyone bought some
souvenirs and seemed happy with their purchases. There were some really good
bargains. I’d tell you about my bargains but then it wouldn’t be a surprise
to my Sweetheart when she opens the package!
From
there we went to the volcano. I’ve never been looking into a live, smoking
volcano before and it was very breath taking. The sides were quite steep and way
down at the bottom was a grey hole with smoke or some kind of steam coming out
of it. I was expecting a sulphur type of odour and there was some but not very
strong.

The
highlight of the day (for me) was dinner at the beach on the Pacific Ocean. We
watched the sun set and as the pictures show, it was very beautiful. The only
thing missing was my darling wife to enjoy it with me.
We
had a delicious dinner. Some had Red Snapper, some chicken and others had
lobster. It was a lovely end to a wonderful day and week of hard work.

The
Lord has worked in His mysterious ways this week and I believe the love of
Christ has been shown to everyone we came into contact with. No interpreter is
needed at times like these.
Thanks to everyone who has supported
this trip through prayer and finances and donations of clothing and supplies.
You have to have been here to see the faces on the recipients of your support.
Thanks again!
Finally, after all is said and done...
