The
power went off at about 4:30 this afternoon, but as you can see from the photos
we accomplished a good deal of work before that.
A grid of steel had to be made for the ceiling of the house. The styrofoam
panels would then be placed on it and welded and cemented into place. This grid
was built on the flat roof of an adjacent building, flipped over and welded on
the other side and then brought down to ground level where it was flipped over
yet again to be "right side up" for the roof. Quite a procedure which
only a video can do justice to, but I'm hoping these pictures convey the
enormity of the task.

It
was then "walked" around to the site and slid up to its position where
it was tied in with re-bar and welded to the top-rails of the walls.
The
computer "geeks" became electricians-for-a-day and installed fluorescent
light fixtures in the Computer Lab. It wasn't finished until after the power
went off so it had to wait to be tested. When finally tested they worked; and
what a difference it made!
